Alain Gehin DO (ESP): Mit über achtzig Jahren und vielen Jahrzehnten in der Lehre und Praxis als Osteopath, ist er immer noch aktiv, um sein Wissen an junge Osteopathen weiter zu geben. Bei Ihrem Vortrag auf dem Symposium der OSD diskutieren Sie das Temporomandibulargelenk und seine Beziehung zu anderen Körperteilen. Können Sie ein paar klinische Konsequenzen dieser Wechselwirkungen erläutern?
Es existieren verschiedene anatomische Beziehungen (biomechanische – neurologische – posturale, usw.…), die schon länger bekannt sind und die z.B. sagen, dass eine Blockade des Beckens durch eine Anpassung im Unterkiefer gelöst werden kann.
Sie haben einige Bücher veröffentlicht, inkl. eines über kraniale Techniken – seit wann praktizieren Sie Osteopathie und was ist für Sie die wichtigste Motivation, Osteopath zu sein?

Ihr Tätigkeitsbereich erstreckt sich von der Klinik bis hin zum Lehren und Schreiben. Wie haben Sie von diesen Überschneidungen profitiert?
Bei der Arbeit mit dem Patienten lernt man jedes Mal etwas Neues. Wenn man diese Erfahrungen aufschreibt oder unterrichtet, hilft es einem das Wissen an die jungen Fachleuten weiterzugeben. Auf unserem Kongress lautet der Titel Ihres Workshops „Osteopathische Behandlung der Sinusitis in 7 Tests und 7 Techniken“.
Können Sie ein Beispiel geben, wie somatische Funktionsstörungen den Gang beeinflussen können?
Die Verengung des Os ethmoidale kann zum Beispiel die Position des Schädels an der Basis des Atlas verändern, was dann den CV und die Verbindung der Wirbelsäule zum Kreuzbein beeinflussen kann. Diese Veränderungen können wiederum Auswirkungen auf den Os iliaca zur Folge haben, wodurch der Gang verändert sein kann.
Was können die Teilnehmer von Ihrem Workshop erwarten?
Die Kunst, Sinusitiden aller Art mit einem Algorithmus zu behandeln und zu heilen, mit absoluter Sicherheit und Effizienz.

Alain Gehin DO (ESP): With over eighty years and many decades of teaching and practice in osteopathy, he is still active in passing on his knowledge to young osteopaths all over the world. From November 15th to 17th, he will be a part of our Osteopathy Conference – with a lecture, various workshops and with a workshop at our post-conference as well:

At your lecture at the symposium of the OSD you will discuss the temporalmandibular joints and their relationship with others anatomical parts of the body. Can you explain some clinical consequences of this effects?
Existe various anatomical relations ( Biomecanic – Neurologic – Postural – Somatognosdia ,etc….), que desde los tiempos antiguos se conocen, tal como la Biblia que said that when the pelvis is booked, just the mandible and after you can free the pelvis.
You have published some books, e.g. one about cranial techniques – since when are you practicing osteopathy and what is the most important motivation for you to be an osteopath?

Your field of activity extends from clinic to teaching and writing. How did you benefit from these intersections?
The clinic with the patient teach each time something ,and intend to describe theses sensations and comprehension writing tech you how you can express it to help the young professionals.
At our conference the title of your workshop is “Osteopathic treatment of the sinusitis in 7 tests and 7 technics.“ Could you give an example how somatic dysfunctions could influence the gait?
It would be more evident mat your first question, as you can see, because of the relation between temporal and the pelvis, as I answer you. But for exemple, the blocage of the ethmoid bone, can change the relation of the cranium on the atlas cervical basis, that can affect then the C.V.and the basis of the C:V:on the sacrum, forcing adaptatio9n of the iliaques ns then the gate.
What can the participants expect from your workshop?
The art of treat and cure all kinds of sinusite in an anmgorithm with total security and efficiency.
